Thank you for your interest in the Hickory Fountain Green (HFG) Baseball program. Every year, approximately 600 players play ball with HFG, from our 4-6 clinic age group up to our highly-competitive Hickory Hornets travel baseball teams. Our mission is to provide the best possible atmosphere for our players to learn the great game of baseball while also making memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. Hickory Fountain Green Baseball develops life skills such as teamwork and leadership through the great game of baseball.d
The program uses facilities at Hickory Park, Hickory Elementary School, Tucker Field, Prospect Mill Park, and Schucks Regional Park, all located in central Harford County.
Our 4-6 and 7-8 age groups participate in a clinic atmosphere where players are taught basic skills and then apply that in game situations. Teams in our 9-10, 11-12, and 13-15 age groups play against other HFG teams in a competitive environment, as well as against local teams in central Harford County.
HFG Baseball also offers travel baseball through our Hickory Hornets travel teams. Our teams compete in local travel leagues, such as Harford County Travel Baseball (HCTB) or the Chesapeake Regional Amateur Baseball (CRAB) leagues. Additionally, our Hornet teams compete in local and regional tournaments, including Myrtle Beach, SC, Pigeon Forge, TN and, annually for our 12U travel team, Cooperstown, NY! Our travel teams are highly competitive and require a significant commitment.
